I really didn't intend on showing this much skin, lol, I was actually wearing a tanktop, I just pulled the sleeves down because I felt like it would pull the eyes away from the tattoo, and I wanted the tattoo to be the focal point of the image.
And, I didnt wanna just crop out the tattoo, because I wanted to show the placement.
O well lol

I wasn't sure what category to put this in, it's an original tattoo design (by me), but it's not on paper, so it doesn't belong in the Designs and Interfaces>Tattoo Design category (yeah...I read the gallery info) so I put it here.

I drew this out on a piece of paper and took it to the tattoo shop and he printed out my image on their little printer thing and basically traced it. The only thing that I can't take credit for is the symmetry of the triquetra and the wonderful shading job he did

I got this because it describes the very essence of me...my passions.
The music note represents my love of music.
The pen represents my love for writing, and it is actually writing the letter "d" because that is my first initial. I wanted to convey that it was a pen (used for writing) instead of a pencil (which would represent drawing), and to further convey that meaning, I had it writing a letter. I picked "d" because it made sense.
The button represents my love for craft-making (making jewelry...etc).
The paintbrush represents my love for painting/drawing.
The planet represents my love for outerspace.
And the triquetra..
wow that one's pretty deep.
I'll try to make it short...
The number 3 has always been an important part of my life. The holy trinity (the father, son and the holy ghost). My 2 best friends and I (the 3 stooges). The rule of 3rds.
There's a lot more..but remember, I'm keeping it short.
And the 3 colors (yellow blue and green) are my favorite colors (Yellow is my "main" favorite color, Green is my best friend's "main" favorite color and blue is my other best friend's "main" favorite color)

we all 3 have a triquetra on our backs. Yellow being the top of mine, green being the top of tiffany's and blue being the top of beka's.
